Jeff Koons BMW M3 GT2 is next in line in my Art car series – again a popart artist whose first intention was to visualize speed with his design. 

I did choose a rear view for this one, as the explosion which Koons expressed on the back of the car was a template to expand this feature into the painting itself.
Known amongst others for his sculptures made of porcelain with a high gloss metallic finish, I placed several of these figures as spectators close to the track – particularly outstanding is of course Popeye, waving his fist at the car.
