An exciting story - not so much the painting itself, but the story of how it developed.
 
A friend of mine (and of Emersons`) asked me, if I could do an Emerson Fittipaldi painting. Emerson was supposed to move into his new house in Italy soon, and he wanted to surprise him with a gift. Of course I could, what a question!
 
We did a deal that I wanted to be present, when the painting was to be given to the legend, and so I painted Emerson in three of his most iconic F1 cars. The background shows the Brazilian flag and the word “Emerson!” to create dynamic and action.

As you can imagine, not only Emerson was over the moon on a late Tuesday afternoon in spring 2023!
